Continuing Day Treatment
Utilizing a professional team of social workers, substance
abuse counselors and psychiatric caseworkers led by a staff
psychiatrist, an intensive program of supportive therapies and
social/psychological education is provided full and half days,
Monday through Friday.
Three clinical tracks of treatment are offered - Trauma
Survivors, Dual Recovery (co-occurring problems with substance
abuse and mental illness), as well as a Wellness Track.
Treatment is planned and provided according to the unique needs
of each individual.
Continuing Day Treatment (CDT) offers the opportunity for
individuals in need of intensive psychotherapy to work through
their problems in a supportive, therapeutic environment. Many
people progress to living enriched and productive lives
requiring minimal psychiatric support. CDT also provides ongoing
support and structure for persons whose psychiatric conditions
are of a more chronic nature.
Patients are assessed to evaluate medication needs to ensure
optimal use of advances in medical care. Coordination of
transportation from community providers is available. Nutritious
daily meals are served at no cost.
