Joseph Giansante
Vice President for Human Resources

Joseph Giansante has more than 30 years of experience in human resource management with a strong focus on organizational development.

Prior to joining the Ellis team, he lead human resources for Buffalo General Hospital of Kaleida Health, Buffalo, NY, a merged health system with a workforce of more than 10,000 employees which includes five hospitals, four long term care facilities, community clinics and a visiting nurse association. Previously, Mr. Giansante was vice president of human resources for People, Inc. in Williamsville, NY and senior director of human resources and organizational development for Bryant & Stratton College

Mr. Giansante earned his master's degree in education (administration and supervision) from Niagara University, and his bachelor's degree in English from Niagara University. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the National Society for Human Resource Management, and is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration Assn., the National/Regional Society for Human Resource Management and the International Personnel Management Association. He is also a former instructor of human resources management at the University at Buffalo, Daemen College and Bryant & Stratton College.
