Bariatric Center of Excellence

Ellis is a designated Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. This means that Ellis meets and/or exceeds nationally set criteria and standards for bariatric surgical care. In fact, our patients experience fewer complications than the national average for these types of surgeries. Additionally, our staff has received thorough sensitivity training and our facilities are equipped to properly handle the special needs of our patients.
